A friend of mine made some paintings a while back with some clothing items. One in particular used spandex tights over a white gessoed shaped piece of masonite. They were strangely suggestive and appropriately sexy in a way we would never expect hard edges and soft fabric to be.....I am dressing up my portrait of a baby painter sprawled out on his blanket. Apathetically seated the painting/body is taking a lunch in the sun. Little Luncheon in the Grass. (to the right is a found plant and a small gilded clay sculpture)
